Prairie Moon Market, A Metaphysical and Spiritual Shop in Holdrege, Nebraska

Prairie Moon Market is a small metaphysical and spiritual shop located in Holdrege, Nebraska. Our story did not begin with a storefront. It began with tables, totes, boxes, displays, and plenty of miles traveling across Nebraska with Pop-up Pagan Shop. After years of setting up at markets, festivals, and vending events, we decided it was time to put down some roots in our hometown and create a permanent space for the community.

Running Pop-up Pagan Shop gave us the opportunity to meet people from across Nebraska. We met Pagans, Wiccans, witches, Norse Pagans, spiritual practitioners, energy workers, readers, curious newcomers, and people who simply wanted to learn more. Those conversations helped shape what Prairie Moon Market would eventually become. We wanted to create a shop where you could walk through the door without worrying about whether your beliefs, questions, or spiritual interests were considered unusual.

Prairie Moon Market is built around the idea that a metaphysical shop can offer more than products. We want knowledge and education to have a place here too. Books are an important part of our shop because spiritual practice often begins with questions. Whether you are researching Pagan traditions, witchcraft, mythology, divination, alternative religions, or another spiritual path, we want you to have resources available to help you learn.

You will also find spiritual and metaphysical goods, gifts, tools, and curiosities for a variety of practices and beliefs. We do not expect everyone who walks into Prairie Moon Market to follow the same path. In fact, we would rather they didn’t. Spirituality is personal, and people should have room to ask questions, study different traditions, and decide what speaks to them.

Being located in Holdrege is important to us. People in smaller Nebraska communities should not always have to drive to Omaha, Lincoln, or another large city to visit a metaphysical store. We want to provide a local option for people throughout south-central Nebraska while also welcoming travelers passing through our part of the state.

More than anything, we want Prairie Moon Market to feel comfortable. You might come in looking for a book, incense, candles, tarot cards, altar supplies, or an unusual gift. You might come in because you are curious about a spiritual practice and have no idea where to begin. You might simply want to meet other people who share some of your interests.

There is no requirement to have everything figured out before you walk through our door.

Prairie Moon Market grew from years of traveling Nebraska and meeting members of its Pagan, metaphysical, and spiritual communities. Now we have a place to call home.
